Kapos etsi megalosame
In honour of our company’s 6th anniversary, we wanted to create something fun as well as technologically advanced and share it with our audience.
The idea was to create a cross-platform application based on the first advergame Digitall designed back in 2010. That first game was created using Flash animation and code. Today, 6 years later, we decided to upgrade the gaming experience by incorporating a whole new way of gameplay, adding a twist to the familiar Arkanoid arcade game.
We named it “kaposetsimegalosame” and gave it a retro look and feel, resembling late 80s arcade game’s interface design. Users were invited to relive the experience of playing the classic arkanoid arcade game only to discover that the gameplay had been upgraded. They could now control the “racket” movement by physically tilting their smartphone left or right. All they had to do was synchronize their desktop/tablet to their smartphone by scanning a QR code.
